If we want this country back we CAN get it back. People say "The demographics have tipped against us". That may be so.
But let's figure out WHY. Sure there is a huge welfare state and it is only getting bigger. BUT. Let me ask you this question. How many states passed Gay Marriage laws yesterday?
Maryland, Maine and Washington. With many more to come in future elections right? How much of the US Population do gays make up?
Last I heard it was like 3 to 4 percent.
3 to 4 percent of the population and they're well on their way to getting THEIR agenda passed.
HELLO!
Hard working Americans make up 50 percent of this country!
Do you think Chik-Fil-A was a fluke? Hell no it wasn't.
A VERY vocal minority can make serious change.
We have to be VERY vocal. VERY Aggressive. VERY passionate.
A majority doesn't automatically get us what we want anymore.
People are saying it's too late and it's all doom and gloom. But I remember just a few years ago.. people were talking about a sleeping giant being awakened.
Remember the woman confronting Arlen Spector? There are TONS of people who don't even involve themselves in politics.
To get our message out we're going to have to fight like there's no tomorrow.
Because if we don't.. there may not be one.
Having said that I'm open to suggestions as to where we should start. Let's take this one step at a time.
What's the easiest thing we could do to organize and make a small change? Start small and work your way up!
How do you boil a frog???
Let's hear some suggestions Freepers!
We’re going to have to be AGGRESSIVE if we want this country back.
A very vocal minority can make a BIG impact. And we’re not totally in the minority yet.
I say we start with voter fraud. Let’s address it. Otherwise everything else is a moot point.
How is it that gays can get their agenda passed being in such a small minority??
They are AGGRESSIVE. They don’t back down from a fight. Heck we could find 3 to 4 percent here on FR willing to enact “change”
So, they miss all that training in revisionist history, the New Math, bullying, cyber-bully, too.
Hmmm, with all those benefits, perhaps I should reconsider...
.3% ~ not 3% ~ miniscule number. They are best known for advertising their presence. Getting dates is, as I’ve heard, quite difficult when you are at .3%.
Read this and see if it makes you feel any better.
I don’t think all hope is lost.
Exactly correct. We must begin TODAY to take our country back. If we need to admit our mistakes let us do so but let us all with a sense of destiny decide that today is The Day
Oh wow it is even smaller than I thought?
I agree.
I think we begin the 2014 campaign TODAY.
Take the state.
Despite our losses we still kept our majority of house seats in Michigan and flipped one to tea party. Most important to us is the fact that we crushed two horrifying union ballot proposals and a disastrous green energy proposal.
In the long run we need to seriously consider how to overturn the 17th amendment to put senators back under the control of the states.
That’s a great idea.
I’m also thinking there is a large portion of the population that we haven’t reached out to.
And the Libs haven’t either. They are people that either don’t vote, or just casually vote.
They’re sitting, waiting to be educated.
I’m reminded of Bluto’s big speech in Animal House.
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/mv-RsJQ/blutos_big_speech/
They count the countries prison inmates, because they don't have a choice. They just have sex with each other, so the homosexuals add them to their tally.
There really aren't that many. They're a very, very small dysfunctional fringe group. They just make a lot of noise so people will believe there's more of them (Alinski tactic). That's why they're always in peoples faces. "There must be millions of them! They're everywhere!" (people don't notice they're the same ones showing up over and over again).
That’s an excellent idea.
Notice how the Senate is always more liberal than the House.
>>I say we start with voter fraud. Lets address it. Otherwise everything else is a moot point.>>
AGREED!
Remember when Pubs insisted on being allowed into the vote sorting room after George W. was said to lose his second election? A large crowd of people stood in the hallway and shouted, “Let us in, Let us in.”
They got in and took a picture of a Lib deliberately switching a vote to the Lib.
And this time some voting precincts allowed on the spot sign up and tossed their Lib votes into the to-be-counted pile instead of reserving them to see if they’d voted already.
Local government is a great place to start. Nothing is going to happen overnight. Time to take back the schools, media, local government.
Yep! A very small minority.
But they get their stuff passed. They got THEIR agenda passed.
I’m thinking we need to start a 50 state coordination strategy.
The wheels are beginning to turn. We have enough people to make a difference right here on FR.
Crush the media into hell and we can easily take back the country.
Agreed.
I say we need to start lobbying for better Voter Id laws. Strict voter ID laws.
If we all work together we can get some incredible things passed.
Term limits.
