For those of us old enough to remember the old Amos & Andy TV show, do you remember Kingfish’s wife, Sapphire? Moochelle reminds me a lot of her.

Around 1960-62, I remember seeing a “white” woman advertizing something on TV and immediately recognized her as a light skinned Sapphire. I must have been 10 or 12.
