Bill Maher on HBO's Real Time Friday might have said one of the most disgraceful things uttered during the 2012 campaign season.
"If you're thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are and they will come after you"
Imagine for a moment the outrage if a conservative commentator said even jokingly to Obama supporters, "White people know who you are and they will come after you."
That would be the end of that person's career. Period. No questions asked. Done!
But Maher who's beloved by the Obama-loving media can say this with total impunity.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: HBO should be ashamed to have this disgusting man as one of its on air personalities. Period. End of story.

Exactly. Maher's attempt at humor (evidently he looks in his toilet each morning for his joke of the day) is not only pathetic but it is a perfect example of race profiling. He's a silly little demon, that atheist Maher.
I guess I am not as confident as you. In the 60s I was literally in the middle of two race riots in Cleveland, one as a youth adviser in the Hough “Ghetto” in 1966, and the other running a gas station near downtown Cleveland at night during the Glenville riots in 1968. In the later I was probably saved from serious injury or death by a Cleveland cop who showed up when some blacks tried to force me (at knifepoint) to sell the gas in jerry cans (to make Molotov cocktails), which had been forbidden by the city.
Things have changed. For one, transportation from the black areas to the suburbs was not as easy.
But more importantly, there were no cell phones then, so it was much harder to organize (unless you had a really long extension cord for your phone).
In that regard, I have been watching the phenomenon of “flash mobs” more recently. It is much easier to go in, do something, and then disappear before the police show up, than it was then.
Having been there, I saw first hand that race riots are ugly things. I vowed I would never put myself in that sort of a defenseless position again.
I am now quite capable of defending myself.

Both black people and white people know who you are, Bill, and what you are trying to do here. Every time now when you look out into your live audience, you are going to have to wonder “which one of those people are here yucking it up, not because they think I’m funny, but because they know they are going to come after me after the show and that thought makes them smile?”
Who knows, Bill? It could be all of them. It only needs to be one of them to make America a better place.
Wow. Does Bill Maher realize how offensive that sounds? Not to the white Romney voters he claims are going to be attacked, either. It sounds smug, like Maher sees himself as the master of black people, like they are his pet attack dogs....his slaves. Maher’s comment is truly racist. Ugh.
This man should be shunned by all in polite society.
With this remark, Bill Maher just insulted every black person in this country.....And, we’re supposedly the racists.

Apparently Maher won't be happy until he can start a full-on race war in America. We've seen this before with the nazis but it's apparently OK for Bill to suggest useing black people as 'brown shirts' in America. HBO seems to condone it. Be careful what you wish for Herr Maher.
Yeah, well the Columbus Police Dept. spent many years under DOJ review for excessive force claims, racial bias, etc.
So they’re sensitive now, if not effectively neutered.
Get a CCW permit, and when you take out 12 assailants when you fear for your life and protect you and yours, awareness will be raised.
Call it your own personal Red, White and Boom.
Columbus PD will then figure ou how to better handle things the following year.

The only way Maher can make his program relevant is say very stupid things that. I think the statement, you can’t fix stupid applies here.
Bill certainly thinks he knows his Black folk since he has a picture of one on his syrup bottle.
