No candidate should drop his campaign plan for an issue that is classified. Classified means he can’t get any inside information. He has no power.
Yes, I agree. He’s really not in a position to use any of the classified information, and honestly I suspect he opens himself up to criticism if he does get involved on a topic where such classified information has an impact.
Better to allow proxies elsewhere to make the case about the gravity of this transgression.
