I’m on high ground in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. It’s mostly fallen branches that I’ve seen. I’m low on gasoline. The closest gas stations were empty.
Prayers sent for those with terrible losses.

Middle of Orange county here.
Got power back yesterday.
But only because the phone company [Frontier] got tired of putting fuel in a generator plugged into their phone box out front while Orange and Rockland Utilities insisted that “Only three people are without power on that road.”
Gas line in Montague New Jersey was an hour long, both gas stations.
Same at the Matamoras PA stations.
Middletown New York gas stations weren’t worth hitting, long lines, short tempers, and prices jacked up to the extreme last I saw.
Local damage: Hemlock pine is laying down and pining or the fjords, fence is not fencing anymore, some shingles on the outbuilding are gone.
Historic Fort Gardner, a stone building down the street, has the north wall stove in on the back addition.
