Back problems are a lot worse than what I’ve got, my dear. You’ve got my sympathies on that.
I never heard of pharyngitis before and I probably can’t spell it right! Can’t spell syrup (got it that time!) or codeine either.
(far off so as not to infect anyone HUGS)
By the way, what are your kitty’s names??
So cute! Does Linda mind the ocean coming in and out??
To my dear friends: So sorry that so many are having colds, sore throats, etc. no fun there! I’m like Meg, my back is a constant hindrance for me to do anything. Its only gotten worse after that surgery. Why bother? Laying on the couch helps my back mostly or leaning back in the Lazy boy!
Meg, I notice you use ice and I use heat. The heating pad and leaning back on it truly relieves my pain. Getting the heating pad ready now. The ice would probably freeze me to death.
Thank you, dear CP..
I never notice or worry about others’ spelling..I just see my mistakes glaring back at me..LOL
Long distance Hugs are good.
;o)
Oh Jaycee, sorry about your back. I would rather have the plague from the plane (pharyngitis) than a bad back.
(far far off internet hugs so as not to spread the plague...)
I use both..depends..Right now ice really helps.
I just have to stay off my feet..and my house shows it.
I feed myself and the kitties and that is it.
I have ice packs that come in my daughter’s prescription growth hormone that is shipped in ice chests. I slip one under my back support belt and can place it precisely on point agony.
It really helps when I have to get up, too.
I was already in big trouble before I went to my daughter’s..Luckily I have great car seats..much better than a chair..so the car was comfortable.
We saw lovely fall foliage along the way..The red oaks on the hills with the still green trees were as pretty as I have ever seen.
I did not do a thing in the kitchen for the dinner..I had baked the apple cake ahead..and made the ambrosia.
I pointed my son toward the kitchen after dinner to help my SIL with cleanup..LOL
My granddaughter, Nikki, is in the hospital with what started with an infected tooth and went to her sinuses and has a terrible infection. They did some surgery on her teeth and sinuses today at noon. She will stay all night in the hospital tonight. Say a prayer for my sweet granddaughter. She’s the one who has little Braelyn. We now call her Brae! And we call her “Widdle” for a love name. (Means little). She is at the cutest age now and I bet she misses Mommie!
Thank you so much, TCP! You are so thoughtful.
I am also sending “far away hugs” for your pharyngitis, Meg’s back and my back and any other friends here who are suffering.
I was so anxious to know their names. Two really cute names, too! They look identical! Just precious. I love the orange cats!! Tell Ginger and Peaches hello and meow, meow!!
The fact that the water is MOVING makes it much more FUN!
Awww, thank you sweetly, Conor. I appreciate that!
Ginger and peaches...
Sounds like your kittehs got STRIPPER Names! LOL.
Either that or names that sound like DESSERT!
Such Pritteh Kittehs!
Sweet Meg, I will be back as soon as I get a pill for my back. Its giving me fits. I haven’t been on the heating pad yet. I’ve been on the computer and one phone call. It may be a few minutes wait as I’ve gotta get a little relief. ((((HUGS))))
This story needs to be spread as far as FR can spread it.
We have a Soldier in dire need. And the gov’t will not provide full transportation home for this injured Soldier. US House and Senators need contacting ASAP! this is an outrage!
