Oh Jaycee, sorry about your troubles. I have a much smaller trouble today, I am too sick (cold-flu-bubonic plague mixture) to be with my family today. This is my favorite holiday. After the horrible election, I could at least look forward to Thanksgiving. That’s not working out too well either!

I'm so sorry that you are so sick on Thanksgiving. I read the other day where you had a terrible cold and hoped it didn't ruin your Thanksgiving, but it seems to have done just that.
My youngest son and I went to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving dinner and I swear its as good as I've ever had. We both thoroughly enjoyed it all. No cooking, no cleaning up...just get in the car and drive home. We usually go to my daughter in law's sister's home where all of their family gathers but Barry didn't like to go much so he suggested that he and I go to Cracker Barrel and I was glad. I can't complain about anything. The food was delicious and hot. We saw many families there and we decided that people were getting tired of all that cooking and cleaning for one day. We could start a new tradition...LOL! Fine with me!!! Nap-time for me!

Hi, I got up enough gumption to mircowave a sweet potato. I think I’m starting to see some improvement in my fever etc.
Going out for dinner was a good idea. Glad it was a good meal!
