All the supplies in the world don’t mean a thing if your home has been destroyed and you’re walking or trying to drive around in waist deep flood water..... I wonder how many of the people who stocked up eventually had to evacuate out of the area?

I wonder how many of the people who stocked up eventually had to evacuate out of the area? Hello. If you are enough of a prepper to stock up like that, you are enough of a prepper to have figured out that you live in an area you may need to bug out of and have contingency plans, like a more disaster proof place to go to where your supplies WON'T be blown or washed away.
Real prepping is more than just buying and hoarding lots of food, water, and ammo.
Sheesh, Please engage brain before putting mouth in gear.

I wonder how many of the people who stocked up eventually had to evacuate out of the area? So, you're saying that I should not insure my house against fire if it may be damaged by a flood? Same principle.
