And if you think you can even touch me with global warming...give it a try. I will make you chase your tail so much you'll make butter. Only climatologists on the Gov't dole and clueless TV "weather broadcasters" believe in AGW. Most operational mets do not....and I am one of that vast majority.
It’s gonna rain. I lived in Smyrna, TN 2 years ago and watched that water go past me on the Stones River. That feeds Percy Priest Reservoir which supplies Nashville Proper. Water will flood, especially in a controlled area. 15in at my house in 48hrs.
Just be ready. Live by the water, take your chances. This storm is more about water than anything. It is also an event that can be easily managed. The Hype is overwhelming. Let me know if 40 tornadoes rip through like Elana had produced.
Yeah, same ole same ole. That's what the nuclear scientists said when they told some of us that the radiation coming from Japan was less than their microwave.
If the hurricane hits right on target I will be cheering the accurate predictions of the weather people but not for what happens to the people in the areas.
I have lived in this area for more than 4 decades and have seen landfall targets NOT happen as predicted. My suspicions have always been that it will hit Conn or more up the coast. Maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong. I could care less if you agree or disagree with my suspicions. I am NOT a weatherman.
I do NOT believe in man-made Global Warming either. I believe in God.
In other matters I noticed the stationary front that was stalled over Western Pennsylvania has now moved to the eastern edge of Pa. and high pressure is building in the upper Midwest, is there any chance this might lock this thing up till it either winds down or meanders off to the east?
