Benghazi:Setup? (VANITY)

From the very first report on the attack of the Consulate in Benghazi, some things in the story just didn't pass the smell test. I remember saying half in jest that Ambassador Stevens was meant to be captured so that the Administration could produce their "October Surprise" and rescue him. The revelations of the past few days have me nearly convinced this is a possibility.

I agree whole heartedly with your previous posts. Was talking with my wife earlier this evening that the "cue ball" comment was something that was a closed-door joke that Biden blurted out crassly at Mr Woods.

Additionally, I have seen reports that one of the CIA team was on the roof engaging targets with what was called a "heavy machine gun" Obviously this is pure speculation, but my guess is that was a M2. Rest assured, if that was the case our guys gave as good as they got. The interesting thing is that according to reports one of the security team was on the roof with a laser target designator. Why on earth would an experienced SEAL stop engaging targets with heavy weapons to illuminate targets with a GLD? Because there were assets on station. It's the only logical explanation. He was waiting for the mortars to be taken out by air support. I have begun seeing other posting about this tonight but it has been on my mind since I read Jennifer Griffin's report for FOX News. There is a lot to this story we don't know.

why were the CIA teams told twice to stand down when they tried to intervene? What was the ambassador there without security in the first place? Once survivors were extracted to the CIA annex, why were requests for aid denied? Why were there not, at the very least, armed predators on site?

Looks an awful lot like those people were left to die so the administration could make up any cover story they wanted. God bless those SEALs with the cue ball sized, ahem, fortitude to go and save American lives and monkey-wrench whatever dark dealings were going on. In that regard, the 4 killed in Benghazi may not have died in vain. If this incident blows up in this administrations face I firmly believe we may owe this election and the future of the country to them. Glen Doherty and Ty Woods may have gone a long way toward saving this Republic. God Bless Them

I believe the theory that Obama had it set up for the ambassador to be kidnapped so that he could then “save him” by exchanging him for the Blind Sheikh which would also pay off his Muslim Brotherhood buddies.

It sure explains why they reduced security and refused security request.
i guess they didnt expect two real heroes to ignore orders to stand down. the two navy seals are one if the bravest men in my lifetime.
.... then to give ones life for a brethren.
