Sorry, you are wrong. The doc says take one every half hour. Meaning take on every half hour after taking the first one. The question how long do they last means, how long till all the pills are gone. Take the first one, wait 30 minutes, take the second, wait another 30 minutes take the third.

The question doesn't ask how long the effects of the pills last only how long the pills last. Correct answer 60 minutes from the time the first pill is taken.
