scumbag cops like this need to be taken down. they do this to innocent people as well when they do no-knocks on wrong addresses, the people are defending themselves from what they think is a home invasion.

We need to end the drug war now.

I posted this before but I remember a 1994 episode of Picket Fences" where a trial was moved to their little town where a drug dealer shot and killed two cops with an Uzi and he was arguing that is was in self defense since it was a no-knock raid. Tom Skerritt was the town sheriff and was the foreman of the jury and he agree with the defendant that it was self defense and the perp got off. I can see the logic, it could have been anybody.

I think most cops are decent but the system along with the few or some that just "want to dress up and play SWAT/soldier" ruin it and we end up with cases like this. The drug war is a bust, I'm not saying legalize it all, but for some of them, we need to go back to what we had back in the 1970's just prior to the time this crusade started along with focusing on treatment.

Drugs aren’t going to be legalized because the drug war brings in too much revenue for the courts, police depts, and other agencies involved.

None of them have any intention of winning the war either—if they were truly serious about it, decisive actions could’ve been taken decades ago, such as sealing off the border and what not.

When the country was more devout it had much less difficulty with crime connected with intoxicants, which were also much less difficult to get. Seems to me that every year, more “things” get banned, as though they could chase after people and cause them to do bad things on their own accord, and we see more and more novel intoxicants. Who would have ever dreamed the old “Calgon, take me away” commercials would become literal? (Bath salts)

if they would have used swat exactly how they sold the idea to the public this kind of crap wouldn’t happen. instead they use paramilitary force to terrorize citizens, not go after known, hardened drug houses and gang headquarters (yes often the same places) which was the original reasons for swat. but they don’t.
