Most Americans have no understanding of history or how atypical the post WW II peace in Europe really is. The real reason the EU elites are terrified of the EU unraveling is that they do know their own history and know what real "civil unrest" can unleash in Europe.
Eurabia is not a given, and the lessons of the French Revolution are that Europeans will take a lot but their tolerance for arrogance on the part of the ruling elite has some very nasty limits which we may be about to rediscover the hard way.
Plus also in America, unlike in Europe, many Americans carry guns or have the permits to do so, in other words, here in the USA is this: mind your p’s and q’s.
