Not sure how to characterize this, or where it belongs, but there's considerable scuttlebutt this morning over a new (and maybe scurrilous) website predicting a major October Surprise this weekend, Sunday evening, just before the next debate on Monday.
This deserves FReeper attention and discussion.

I think the point is, he didn’t mention it at his ACCEPTANCE speech. Seems like the best time, but according to him, he only wanted to talk about ‘important’ stuff. It was an oversight, but a telling one.

Obama will announce he struck a deal with Iran to stop their nuclear program to make a bomb. But it is only good till after the election.
Supposedly his staff worked out a deal with them over this past weekend and final details were being worked out.

Well, we’re all just guessing here.
It seems less likely that it’s about Romney, though.
Do college financial aid applications ask where you were born? Would Obie say “Kenya” or “Indonesia” back then if he thought it would get him more money? Even if he lied and he really was born in Hawaii and only said Kenya for monetary reasons, it would still look absolutely horrible if it surfaced. The Birthers would gain instant credibility. Just for the sake of argument, mind you.
But who knows? I’m speculating as if this thing is legit.
Still don’t know why someone associated with OWS would sandbag Obama. Maybe the info is so juicy that being famous for uncovering it is more important than securing O’s re-election? OWS is so left-wing they don’t like Bozo that much anyway.
We’ll find out soon, I guess.

The blurred image may be an application for federal student aid, which asks all kinds of personal and financial history, both for student and parents.
The current form is called FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), but when Barry0 was in college it was called the FAF (Financial Aid Form).
Does anyone know how to find a FAF from 1979 through the early 80s for comparison?
I can’t figure out if there is a reason to think Hopwood knows any more than the rest of us regarding whatever these documents are.
Still would be quite surprised is this site releases anti-Obama info. Hard to imagine there’s dirt on Romney - he seems super-clean and we all know Obama is hiding everything.

This Hopwood guy is Anti-Romney all the way. No doubt about it. Whatever he has, he believes it reflects poorly on Romney. To the point that it will turn the election into a ‘1984 style landslide’ His words. Not mine.
Sven, could it be that BO had no student loans at all (contrary to his claims) and that rich financiers helped him through school?
