I’m curious about which breed he chose for his new pet.
Not all pit bulls are bad, I don’t think. We have 2 or 3 that play at the doggie park with my dogs. They seem friendly and playful—but I think all of the doggie owners are keeping their eyes on them just in case...I know I am when they are playing with one of my dogs.
I think it a bit odd that the article didn’t mention the breed of his new dog........
He had spoken openly about wanting to own a dog and in July told CNNs Piers Morgan that he did not want to deprive his daughters from having the pet because of his crimes. Asked what kind of dog he would get, Vick said that he would allow his children to choose, but it certainly wont be a pit bull.

I’m curious as well. My nephew has a pit bull, and she’s the sweetest dog you’d ever want to see. Given Vick’s history with the breed, I don’t think it would be a good choice.
Perhaps something small, like a terrier or pom, would be good for the kids without being too similar to the breed that he was using in the dog fighting.
