People seem to have a distorted view of Rioting. Outside of the rioting in LA and Detroit, its generally confined to a pretty small area. Even in those cases it wasn’t a city wide event.
Funny thing is that the Detroit riot of 67 started with something that most FReepers would probably say should have been left well enough alone. (Raided an unlicensed bar)
Actually, the 67 Dee-troit riots also were confined to a small area. I can remember suburbanites expecting the rioters to march up Woodward Ave. and were busy getting their guns ready. However, the miscreants just trashed their own hoods.

Formalize, and set in concrete the notion that some animals are more equal than other? And that they are immune from the rules of civilized behavior that everyone else voluntarily observe?
