Maybe it is a regional thing, or that I usually eat corn by itself or as cornbread-but I’m not familiar with corn chowder-is it a stew, like clam chowder?
It’s Amish if anything. I started making it after visiting the Amish region in Pennsylvania. They had lots of all you can eat places and they all served it. I was hooked. Brought home a post card with a recipe on it and adapted it a bit.
