We have raccoons, foxes , flying squirrels in the yard. My wife puts out a dish every night.
The beautiful young grey fox that frequented at night suddenly stopped coming around 3 nights ago. He was hit by a car on the busy road behind our house. Sad, he was beautiful.
One night this summer, my wife, daughter and grandchildren were sitting in chairs around a fire roasting hotdogs. The eldest grandson suddenly said “OMG”. Sitting next to him looking at the fire like he was part of the family was a red fox.
