I think we have the roots of racism here—The Neanderthals looked different—so they human’s stopped having sex with them and started to kill them (and maybe eat them) hence we have no more Neanderthals around today. Maybe DNA cloning can bring back these tough brusers. Might make good warriors.
We already know they still vote. ;-)
