Like many of my freepers, I am forced to work amongst some border-line commies. You know, the better enlightened yet less informed ilk who feel its fair to drool their political slobber around me. You see, most of them think that since Im a member of that ethnic group who is expected to vote 99.9% for the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, they ASSUME Im not bothered by their political ignorance.
I couldn’t watch the whole debate.
Even the enjoyment of watching Romney school His O’liness wasn’t enough to overcome my loathing of the droaner in chief. I just can’t stand listening to that boob after 4 years - I’d rather listen to nails on a chalkboard, if chalkboards still existed.
We’re not allowed to talk openly about politics in our office - the two certain ethnic liberals whined about it being inappropriate as they were outnumbered and unable to defend their messiah. But a good number of us communicate by email and I expect we’ll have some good conversations.
there will be rioting, murder and mayhem, no matter what the outcome of the election!

Had a discussion with a FB friend who was insistent that I was in total control of my profit margin in my small plumbing business. Guess he never heard phrases such as competitive business practice, gas prices, part costs. Even though I have no advertising because I have an established business with people I know. He even suggested I buy a Prius and go to people’s house who don’t want to provide a phone number and remain anonymous when they call. Anyway I am still pissed but this is his take on the debate. I guess he missed the memo on the topic of the debate.
He said “I personally think it’s a terrible debate JJ. Same sh!t regurgitated over and over, never moved past the economy.”
“Lib #2 said that Obama took a deliberate dive (!!), underperforming by design, so that he could come back strong on the next debate.”
Although it is obvious Romney won this debate, I too feel like we are being “played.”
Watching it on the internet this morning, stopping and re-watching parts, it looked like Obama was “following orders” to keep his head down and lay low like he was probably ordered to do.
Color me very suspicious! We will see how the next one goes.
Now the Ryan/Biden debates are going to be a one-sided blood bath, I expect. All my money is on Ryan.
Local ABC news radio in DC is declaring an unmitigated victory for Mitt. Must be hard for them to admit it.
Obama thinks himself the king - while in fact he is only a R.O.U.S. from the fire swamp.
General gist is Romney cleaned the floor with Obozo -— one of my Co-workers summed it up very nicely I think, “After last night I now feel like I have someone to VOTE FOR not just someone to vote AGAINST.”
Good—we need every one of those OH votes!
I work with a lot of democrats. Vastly outnumbered.
Let me tell you, they are depressed. They saw the emperor’s clothes fell off.
I saw that meme a lot in the comments on Yahoo News articles about the debate. But, as you saw, there were no specifics.
It was the usual thing I see: a new article on the election pops up, and a lot of comments critical of Obama are posted.
Then suddenly, you see a wave of postings all repeating the same talking points or insults (tea baggers, rethuglicans, etc.), and a wave of thumbs-down usually push the original comments down and a simultaneous wave of thumbs-up promote the new comments.
I really think that the Obama campaign has hired people to sit home and do this. I wonder if they are collecting unemployment while they do it?
However, this time the comments critical of Obama overwhelmed them. The "paid" posters tried to change the tide, but failed.
Maybe he’s “psychic” and knows that next year he will be a private citizen.
I listened to Romney and muted Obama but it sure seemed that they gave Obama a lot more time.
Only because he droned on and on with meandering bablble. Romney really did kick his ass. It was almost painful.
You’ve raised a point I’ve only recently realized most non-owners (liberals for the biggest part) don’t know and I think it affects their reasoning.
Most people honestly think we take a big fat cut off the top and spread around what’s left. When the truth is, WE only get what’s left over.
The employees, the suppliers, the subcontractors, the taxes, the utilities, the insurance company, the landlord/mortgage, the repairs and maintenance, the credit card fees (stoopid “Rewards” credit cards!), the advertising, etc. all get paid first. We ONLY get paid if there happens to be something left.
It seems so simple to understand but most people don’t have a clue.

Yeah! And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out O! Poor soul...
