Happy Boxing day to you 'Face, Tc,Ff.
Boxing day:
The Day after CHRISTmas when gift boxes were traditionally given to household employees and other service workers.
The Staff in the 'Big houses' used to be given the day off, if they were lucky.
Observed as a Bank holiday in most Commonwealth countries.

Today is Rain, this has taken up residence and will be with us until Sunday.

Anoreth's Dog sounds as if it's got the right response for a wet day, good doggie!

I just read that in a Wilkie Collins short story. Before that, I didn't know why it was "Boxing Day."

The rain might clear off this afternoon. If it doesn't, we'll put off after-Christmas shopping until tomorrow.

Low clouds and ugly stuff out there, this morning, but at least there is light.

Maybe some rain will hit us a little later. Since we are in the SE corner of the valley, a lot of “weather” misses us by going NE. We are hotter in the summer than Vegas and colder in the winter.
