I would like to have a Merry Catmas. I’m feeling the urge to have something warm, furry and purry.
I got a card from Hockeybughow and Lingolover yesterday with a Walmart card in it. Since the mail doesn’t come until well after noon, I was left with a decision: Do I hike to Walmart for last minute stuff before they close at 2000 tonight? Or do I wait till 0600 on the morning of the 26th?
The first option won... I fought the north wind all the way, and realized I hadn’t dressed warmly enough. Then I realized that my timing was off, and I would miss the bus home at 1600 and have to wait for the one at 1700, which would put he home at almost 1800, when it was full dark. Almost an hour of standing or sitting in the cold wind.... *sigh*
I have a pan of Rhode’s frozen cinnamon rolls thawing on the counter (they get bigger if you let them thaw a bit before baking them!) and will put on some coffee when the rolls are done baking. Yummy!
It will be quiet today. I thought of going to see the Hobbit, but I don’t want to wait for the bus again in the cold wind.

Back from church with no disasters, other than Tom’s wearing jeans because he “forgot” to wash his one pair of non-jeans pants.

I just took a cinnamon roll and some candied nuts over to Crazy Frank, who was not at home. He’s probably down in the arroyo, feeding the catz. He watches out for them because the coyotes have found them easy prey, especially during mating season.
The Stig was singing when I first got up, but he is sleeping now, checking out his “wing pit.”
It’s colder now than it was when I got up at 0500. *shiver*
Sould I keep going with my step-by-step day? I think not!! LOL!

54 here, a bit of sun. Catz are happy. Bill has gone back to bed; you could try that. I’m thinking about wine, but it’s not noon yet!
