..
Speaking of your blog, I had trouble signing into it and haven’t had the time to ask you about it until today. What am I doing incorrectly? Will f/u in FReepmail prn. Thx!
Red Dwarf increases one’s silliness titer. I find that I need more and more fun and silliness as time goes on.
Poor, dear little Ash. We had a 180 lb. Newfie whom we dieted down to a svelte 160 lb., who lost the use of her distal half, so I used to pick her up and bring her out into the back yard wheelbarrow-style. We still have the military surplus litter we bought for taking her on her last camping trip. She loved camping and her favorite thing to do was to race us to the camp cots to see who would have to sleep on the floor of the tent. We have photos of her huge, screwy grin as she peeked out of the tent.
Crickets?
Me ... I was feeling witchy yesterday, what with its being October, and maybe I still am. Coffee ...
I cured rrrod’s chronic ear infection with tea-tree oil and got him taking glucosamine for his joints ;-). (He’s an old friend from the North Carolina group.)
We were watching “South Pacific” last night - a 2001 version, not the 50s one with Mitzi Gaynor. Beautiful tropical views, but I always think of heat and bugs.
It rained last night, and the outdoors is a strange yellow-green this morning.
I wasn’t upset so much about Ash as I was with how the day was going. No apologies necessary.
*blush* (Ive been sick.)
Back in the day, when we were considered “Down Winders,” we were given iodine tablets every week in school. Nasty things.
I so seldom use salt (it’s easy to put into food, but a little harder to take it out) that there is no sense in me keeping it. I’ve never cooked with it, but have had it on my table for those who like salt.
I feel like that some days....
I hope today is better for you!
Im sure today will be better. I can’t handle too many bad ones strung together.
Temperature holding in the 50s here. I found a few warmer clothes for some Offspring in the storage box. The byos probably need long pants in their latest sizes, but I’ll have to check all their drawers first. They’re always saying they don’t have clothes, when they really mean they can’t be bothered to look for them!
Gee ... that kitty needs help. It could break a leg or two.
You could trade it if/when TSHTF in the economy.
Sorry. That's just all the stuff I'm coughing up...
True. I will consider it.
It was given to us to help “combat the radiation” we were getting the fallout from all the A-Bomb tests at the Test Site. Only, that’s not what we were told.
I understand the connection between iodine and goiter, and have for years. But I still don’t use it. The side-effects are worse for me than the benefits.
