Wellden...

Let me say this about that.

I like standard grits. Squash is seasonal, though I like it. I can live with potatoes and/or yams, and/or rice, pasta, etc.

As a guest, I think that I shall never see ‘Face refuse a meal that’s free.

*ahem*

Bring on what is current and/or on the menu for the TC household!

:o]

And if you are in GB, why are you up so ... strangely, time-wise? Your staying powers amaze me.

Years of shift-work do strange things to your time keeping.
I'm more awake in the night than the day anyway, as next week is a night week might as well get used to it now.

LOL!

Yes, but...

I’ve been up since 0300 PST, and you have been on here for...how long? I really didn’t want to get up but my mind kept telling me all the things I could do, should do, would do, if I could only get up.

And here you are...at least eight hours earlier and just as far away, and you seem to be ... um ... in step.

If I may be so bold, what type of work do you do that requires you to shift? (You don’t have to answer.)

I will wait a few for your reply, and then I’m off to watch the Blanket Show. ;o]

Got it. The late Igor was in Aerospace, and I can’t go any further with THAT answer!

I will see you tomorrow! Be good to yourself and those around you!

I’m so sorry your husband is ill. We are all very fortunate to enjoy good health, almost all the time.

Shenanigans have zero Weight Watchers Points.

I had the last of the beef-barley soup. Now I think I’ll cook some Quick Grits and put them in the refrigerator in a square container, so I can make fry-up for the byos tomorrow, or for their afternoon “I’m starving!” time today.

I forgot my microwave was fried, and bought a breakfast buscuit to bring home and eat. They don’t taste very good when they are cold.

It’s electric. By the time it heated up enough to heat the biscuit, it would be time for lunch. That’s OK. It’s almost gone, now. *choke*

I was going to take it to the clubhouse kitchen, but they won’t be open for another two hours. What was I thinking when I bought it? I should have stuck eith yogurt! LOL!

“Darks jumped on me in a”

I didn’t jump!
I was pushed, from that ledge up there!
I swear when I find that gargoyle, he’s in trouble!

Welcome!
This is what amounts to the remaining true chat threads on FR.
The first was The Dimensional Doors.
There was also The Hobbit Hole series, haven’t checked to see if they’re still active.
And us, The Undead Thread.
We tend to wander from thread to thread as I mentioned once.
We will be moving to a new thread, once I find one.
Had drill yesterday, and I go back to work tonight.

All in all, a rather odd day will be had my way.

It will be odd here, as well. It’s finally under 50 degrees this morning, close to where it should be, but the trees are brown. Not enough cold in the nights to make them colorful.

What will I do for the day, since I’ve got the living room squared away? (She asks, rhetorically.)
