Dreamy, TT!
Thank you and God Bless!
Of course! She calls it "Internet Addiction".
That’s a fine shrubbery. Tom’s trying to talk me into starting a juniper hedge, but I pointed out he would be leaving home long before it got big enough to provide creepy atmosphere.
Baby is doing great - almost nine months old, slithering around the house finding hidden stashes of dog fur and crumbs in the corners. How are the grandchildren?
Is that up by Camp Cuyamaca?
You have mail.
I have no clue about KF anywhere near me or far as 1) I have no vehicle to go exploring, and 2) no money to pay for the privilege. But thanks for the suggestion.
The whiplash injuries were severe enough that I knew they would cause problems in later life, so I am not surprised, only chagrined. At least this is a transitory thing.
Good morning!
If it had not been for the eyes would never have seen the kitty. In the white room will wait in the dark for some color, and in the light the bright is illuminated with eyes of pastel. Good photo, and may the light shine in. Morning everyone and all.
Its ears are faintly pink. Looks like there’s snow outside that window, too. I wish we had some!
Enjoy your Wednesday! I think we’ll go to the library.
Good morning to you!
The vertigo has diminished, and I think I will walk to Walmart in a bit to get the money orders and some grits/grub/grocks.
How exciting. I will be tired when I am done, for sure. But because there is still some residual vertigo, I will have to take a taxi home. I’m not going to trust myself to ride the bus when I’m tired from shopping. The bus stop is almost a quarter of a mile from Walmart. I don’t like the idea of having the Wobblies and falling down on the way.
Good luck and be careful!
I'm thinking of using something like say... Vesta... as the "tosser" and the smaller asteroids as "tossees". As we spin Vesta, the launch tube flings the smaller chunks out the end and towards the target destination.
Not sure how you thought a trebuchet would work better.
A mass driver is also out. More for power requirements. Most of the stuff we are targeting are M-type metallic spectra asteroids with possibly a few V-type f they prove interesting enough. The other classifications have too low a % of ferrous components for magnetic-mass drivers to work on.
It's either something like my "minor planetoid centrifuge", or we start figuring out ways to mass produce high impulse rocket motors to strap to rocks to move them around the solar system.
The Crawling Chaos.
And it was then that Nyarlathotep came out of Egypt. Who he was, none could tell, but he was of the old native blood and looked like a Pharaoh. The fellahin knelt when they saw him, yet could not say why. He said he had risen up out of the blackness of twenty-seven centuries, and that he had heard messages from places not on this planet. Into the lands of civilisation came Nyarlathotep, swarthy, slender, and sinister, always buying strange instruments of glass and metal and combining them into instruments yet stranger. He spoke much of the sciences - of electricity and psychology - and gave exhibitions of power which sent his spectators away speechless, yet which swelled his fame to exceeding magnitude. Men advised one another to see Nyarlathotep, and shuddered. And where Nyarlathotep went, rest vanished; for the small hours were rent with the screams of a nightmare. H. P. Lovecraft, Nyarlathotep
Character may have been loosely based on Nikola Tesla and a dream Lovecraft had.
Did we ever get around to slicing kudzu with various food crops? Was thinking do one strain for fruits like grapes, and another for veggies like beans and bell peppers...
I've never tried to stop so I must not be addicted.
Got any 3’s?
I will be careful! I’m too chicken not to! LOL!
Be careful out in the Castle forests. We brought a select number of predators to helps us manage some of our herd stock...
Our wolves are a hybrid. Smarter and a bit more domesticated than their wild cousins, they are also a fair deal larger. Think "warg" and you'll get the idea. Take a Dwarf with you as a guide until they get used to your scent...
