Sorry was confused for a moment. Went to main board and was reading media reports. Captain Hook (the lapdog media) was beating Peter Pan (America) to lifelessness. Was a poor reference, and poor judgment to place on the Undead Thread. See what happens when I come out of a corner. My apology to everyone. Going out in backyard to dig up my humor. Anyone have a bicycle pump to pump some life back into Mr. Goodhumor. Afraid he might be melted and will have to put in the freezer. Dang, gonna be dirty.

We’re an oasis away from the “real news,” but sometimes it creeps in, and everyone understands.

Speaking of famous technological malevolence, Tom just ran the mop machine through the downstairs. I’m not sure he used enough cleaning solution - I usually refill it twice when I’m doing all the rooms - but it’s much better than it was. Worth the $20 I promised, which I understand will top off his fund to buy the latest iteration of “Assassins’ Creed.”

And using those magic words, “ ... for which I pay a separate quarterly fee,” I got the city to empty my second trash bin. Last week, it took until Thursday, which actually wasn’t too bad because we kept putting more trash in it!
