I realize it is great psyops to talk about things like that, but is there any data/testing/MythbustersShow on whether bacon, garlic, or whatever would make it into the wound?

I don't think so, but hollow points are notorious for dragging anything they encounter into the wound. The biggest problem would be keeping the bacon grease in the hollow of the bullet. A drop of candle wax on top of the fat would work, but I wouldn't try something like this in any semi-auto, revolvers only.
