I've been told that the new $50 and $100 dollar bills have a tracking imprint that can be found by government satellites to locate large amounts of money being hoarded?
Well that works to duplicate the paper, but it doesn’t help with the anti-fraud strip, because ones and fives don’t have a strip. Also, the bills that do have strips have the denomination printed on them, which is what the store clerks are looking for when they hold the bill up to the light.
Yep. Should things go bad your paper currency will be worth diddly squat (ain’t worth much more now, really). No reason to track it.
Put your large bills in your washing machine set to permanent press; remove, place in dryer; remove and microwave on high for on minute.
Only if it’s stuning.
I found that if you line your house in 1/4 inch gold leaf they haven’t a clue about finding my three hundred bucks.
Junk silver coins
Ah... the real reason behind those "mistaken" no-knock raids!
Sigh....
Oh great, so now I have to worry about swat teams every time I fill my family van.
By satellite, no
By hand held scanners....it’s in the works:

I didn’t say the strip. I said metallic fibers. Get out a magnifying glass and take a look for yourself. They are red and blue, by the way.
Watermark same as the portrait
I am not worried about this, I have never had a large amount of 50 or 100 dollar bills.
The problem is: I have gold and silver. Some in a safe at home, some in my safe deposit box. I don’t like keeping it all at home but I might not be allowed to access my safe deposit box. Do you have a solution?
The red and blue fibers are synthetic, not metallic.
A coffee can.
Look for a private vault company in your city.
They don’t have the same legal requirements as a bank. They aren’t obligated to seal the box if one of the joint box holders dies. And, you don’t have to worry about the bank being closed by the Feds.
Of course, there is some additional risk since it is an unregulated business.
Almost correct. The new bills have an RFID signature that allows satellites to check your bank account and your income tax 1040s for cheating. And how good you are in bed.
Hey...I have one and I'm hoarding it!!!
