Not a question of “throwing in the towel”. Desire never won anything and Romney is flat out one of the worst campaigners I've ever seen. He comes across as a stammering whiner who simply doesn't understand why half the population thinks he's completely out of touch. His idea of a policy statement is to say, “I'll tell you later”, and since preaching to the choir never converted anyone, there's no reason expect that he'll just randomly get more than half the undecideds. Ryan goes out in front of the AARP and tells them exactly what they don't want to hear, and when they just about boo him off the stage he gives them his shit-eating smirk and proceeds to lecture them on why they're wrong. That's not how you collect votes. Every time I see him all I can think of is Eddie Haskel.

OK fair statement. Remember back in the old days people would not disclose who they voted for. Don’t give up yet.

What has been the difference in Romney the primary candidate vs. Romney the Republican nominee candidate in the general election? Obummer seems to maintaining a foothold with his perpetual blanketing of the airwaves and his zeal to quench his base by going hard left. The kicker, keeps pounding on Bush which seems to still be effective. Not saying Obummer will win, but won't be surprised if he gets +270.
In the end, I have no clue how Nov. 6 will play out and don't really care until Nov. 7 or the evening of 6th if its a blood bath either way. Amusing is all I can think of when it comes to prognosticating.

Well. As Jack Benny would say.
You don’t like Romney AND you don’t like Ryan.
Who DO you like?
