We have to be saved from that sin but the darkness that inhabits almost all of us needs to be cleaned out which is done in prayer. First we believe, then we discipline ourselves with God’s help and pray silently..because God already knows what we need...then through patience we possess, or the evil gets dispossessed and there is only our souls and the holy spirit left! Shazam! No more compulsion to sin! Still some moderate temptations from the devil, but no a new power to let them pass by! I know of what I speak..been living it for about 5 years now.

You clearly remain in error.
