Here's what my lying eyes are telling me here in occupied Massachusetts.
Four years ago every tenth car had an Obama sticker.
Today, I see one or two Obama stickers a day. (And one or two Romney stickers.) I spend 2 hours commuting each day.
So the Obama bumper sticker count in Massachusetts is down by AT LEAST 90%. That's telling. Enthusiasm is WAY down.
What is the bumper sticker count like elsewhere?
Yeah,in the past, I saw an African-American posing as a journalist getting peoples names while at an anti-OBAMACARE rally in Cincinnati, at Coney Island, just before the vote. He also had a little rinky dink $69 video camera filming everybody close up. HE HAD NO PRESS CREDENTIALS . I told him to get away from me.
People, be careful!
I only saw one obama the past month - it was in the parking lot at the food market. Most of the ones I see are left over from ‘08. Drove up to CT Labor Day weekend to see Zac Brown and there were plenty of R/R cars on the Thruway.
Cool! Should be able to get about 4-up on one sheet of paper.
It’s the same in Chicago, except here it was about 8/10 cars that had them in ‘08, and maybe 1 in 50 have them now.
ROTF.....Gasping for Air and LMAO!
Don't worry. The IBEW and SEIU thugs will clean up all the GOP yard signs Monday night before the election.
Sorry to say that in south L.A. county all that is seen is Obama stickers. There are not as many of them as last time and some ARE from last time. But I am on the road a lot and have seen only 2 Romney stickers ever. Seen a few good anti Obama stickers, maybe 10.
I also have seen zero yard signs for ny presidential candidate. Locals only.
I’ve been looking for Obama stickers, and I’ve only seen one “Obama 2012” so far in PA.
I live up here in MA and seem to see all the cars that have had them on the bumper for four years, but not a lot of new ones.
That said, they will either not vote, or vote for Obama, bumper sticker or not. If they don’t vote, great.
80% of the time, I'm sorry to say, it is a homely middle aged white woman. If it is a guy, they generally appear to be of the wimpy wire-rimmed glasses, vegetarian type. Typically, the cars are four-door imports.
I agree there are fewer O stickers than 2008.
There is a world of difference between Whitehaven and White Station, as you know. White Station is still a good school in a safe neighborhood. Whitehaven is another story. It used to be a real nice area, but today it’s a disaster zone. Years ago my office was near the airport. I used to eat at Fred Gangs every Friday with guys from my office. Today our old building has a high fence with a barbed wire topper.
I’ve got tickets for the Tiger game tomorrow against MTSU. I’ve been a Tiger for almost fifty years now. I stick with them through thick and thin. With football, it’s mostly been thin.
Today there's one...tomorrow there's two...... etc.
Sort of like awarding them for their idiocy......by giving them another Romney/Ryan sign to stare at....
For sure there are less Obama bumper stickers and yard and window signs here in Philadelphia compared to last time. Enthusiasm for Obama is clearly way down. What is concerning me though is there is zero enthusiasm for Romney (including from me). I’ve only seen a handful of Romney bumper stickers and zero yard and window signs. I’ve seen two Obama yard signs (and those were in the bluest of blue Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia). A few Obama bumper stickers. A handful of anti-Obama bumper stickers and cropping up in my heavily Jewish neighborhood are lawn signs that say “Obama...Oy Vey!”
Sounds like another "community organizer".....
- Its just never been like this before.
Its like a bumper sticker ghost town. Very strange. Its not like the country is hanging by a thread this election cycle, or anything.
I think it’s because, as several posters have said, we are afraid to put Romney or anti Obama stickers on our cars. The shops around here are patronized by African Americans mostly and I have a new car.
Out in Liberal California the Obama Bumper stickers are down 80% from what it was in 2008—still few Romney stickers out here as well. There is a sea change coming—I can see that far.
Here in the People’s Republic of Maryland, 2012 bumper stickers are all over the place, unfortunately.
I live in a Liberal Blue Hell.
Here in Richmond, VA I have to say that there are many more Obama bumper stickers. I echo the sentiment of others that Romney supporters won’t put bumper stickers on their car for fear of vandalism. I have seen quite a few more Romney signs in yards lately though.
