The Kairos reunion was sparsely attended, but those who came want more of God. We heard many testimonies about how the weekend experience from March changed lives. FOr some, it was a return to the faith, for others it was the discovery of love without limits - it set them truly free.

I tear up just seeing their faces as they glow with gratitude to Christ and talk about making amends, restoring broken relationships and forgiving those long dead........... Some still struggle with forgiving themselves for the mess they made of their lives and the lives of their loved ones and neighbors.

Such “reality” and transparency is relatively rare in the church, outside. MOre is the pity. Pray for revival - we need it.

It sounds as if your weekend was just what you needed to restore faith in youself, and your abilities to handle the things that are presented to you.

I am so proud to be counted as a friend and a FRiend! You are “estupenda!” (”Awesome” is so over-worked!)

Oh, I agree profoundly! We are all careful not to do anything "too much": not to love too much, suffer too much, share too much, give too much, sing too much, cry too much. But I don't remember Jesus's ever saying, "Be careful ... not too much!" He wanted all our muchness ... "Too much to bear? Give it to me!" "Too much to hold? Give it away!"

"Too much" love for God and our neighbors? Impossible! "Too much" mercy? No way!

It sounds to me that the reunion was right on target. And as for revival: I was the only person in church who raised my hand when our minister asked, “Who’d like to be revived?” Then again, self-awareness is a lot easier when you don’t just have little flaws—I have huge crevasses. The Creator put me here for a reason. In this position, all one can do is listen. *You* sound like a really good listener! (((Hugs)))
