Arrrrgh, and be sure to be lettin' us know if ye'll be needin' bail money.
Howdy...I am tired today. Other than that all is well!! And you?
They were children’s shows, and they were terrible.
Think of the torment that was “Barney and friends” only worse.
Yes still smokey. Phones are back on. I am tired today I think the smoke is getting to me. I had to do a few things outside today I couldn’t put off.
Most definitely. Reminds me of the tail-end of a southbound intestinal purge.
“Yes still smokey”
Roasted some Hatch green chilies on the stove last night and smoked up the house so bad the smoke alarm two rooms away from the kitchen went off.
Speaking of Hatch, this is the first time I’ve ever had enough to get wild with them. They have an amazing flavor.
The poor thing is going to start acting like that cake baking scene from The Little Rascals, isn’t it.
Levitating, banging against the floor, making demonic noises and such?
I set the alarms off cooking habaneros for salsa a few times. “Chemical warfare!!!” screamed the Offspring.
I “Yo-HO, me hearties!” pray ye bear me henceforth from th’ noise an’ rumour o’ th’ field, where I may think th’ remnant o’ me thoughts in peace, an’ part o’ this body an’ me soul wi’ contemplation an’ devout desires.

Wow! Seriesly? Thank you, sista!
I wish you rest and peace. I’ve been having a good time today w/new toy (food dehydrator recommended by JustaDumbBlonde). I process the food and Mr. Sg reads the directions and does the settings. Am I going bald?
Our 82yo combat vet neighbor has received some bad news in terms of his health. Don’t worry—we are here for him. Please excuse—I’ve been somewhat upset about his status for the past few days. We will continue to care for his horse and other animals ad infinitum (infinatum?).
Thank you for caring....
Arrrgh, and thank you, darlin’! We have no Krispy Kremes around here. (Actually, we have trees, ponds, a river and some creeks, armadillos, rabbits, deer, mice, lizards, copperheads, cottonmouths, etc.) I appreciate the thought, though!
My kids thought the smoke alarm was a dinner bell.
“Sounds like another sponge is ready!”
Does anyone have snow yet?
Yep. Just just use the corresponding crochet hook so the gauge is correct, and take off with the project. You can pencil in the changes directly on the pattern sheet.
Let me know how it works!
(You can do it with any knitting pattern, including the textured ones. There is a book about converting the stitches from knit to crochet, called “Needles to Hook.” Check on Amazon for it.)
And you are very welcome!
With temps still in the 90’s here, it may be late December before we see any snow. Though, for a record, August was the wettest ever, with 12 days of rain during the monsoons, instead of the usual 3.
It’s getting chilly on Mt. Charleston, with the nights in the 40’s, but they are used to it up there. I’ve only been up there about three times, but it was really nice. Like home, almost.

Had one of these in the yard last night, it freaked out the cats.
Will be a beautiful day today, in the Hornet’s Nest. Temperature and weather is perfect. May your weather be as pleasant. Can we talk the north into keeping the snow? That stuff gives me the chillies ... burrrr.
Whick is why I live in Vegas Valley. I get all the snow I want in the winter, just looking at Mt. Charleston!
