Man Nearly Died by Shipping Himself to Girlfriend (As a Romantic Gesture)

A man from Chongqing in Southern China nearly suffocated to death after a romantic gesture to his girlfriend went wrong.

Mr Hu Seng had asked his friend to tape him into a box so he could ship himself via a courier service to his girlfriend, Li Wang.

However, the romantic gesture turned into a life-threatening event for Mr Hu when the courier company mixed up the address with another delivery.

The 30-minute wait turned into a three-hour ordeal for Mr Hu.

The material of the box was reportedly too thick for him to make any breathing holes while inside and he did not want to spoil the surprise by calling for attention.

When the box arrived at Li Wang's place, his friend was poised to record the event.

However, they found Mr Hu unconscious and looking pale upon opening the package.

Subsequently, paramedics were called over to her apartment to revive him.

He admitted, "I didn't realise it would take so long."

The courier company said they would not have accepted this delivery if they had known there was a person inside.

The spokesperson said that even for animals, a special container would be used so they can breathe properly.

Nothing short of total obliteration will cancel much in Vegas for very long. Remember, the floods in Vegas are on their ways to Lake Mead, so the water doesn’t stick around.

I’m so far up above all the water, that all I do is watch it flow downhill.

Don’t have any idea because I didn’t/wouldn’t do that. I was only told by my vet that it had been done. He did not say that HE had ever done it just he knew it had been done.

What difference would it make if a Bloodhound could scent if he was not a working dog and just a backyard pet, like mine was?

Mrs. C. Liberty and their cat Fred the Insane have Mr. C. Liberty’s wallet and other various items needed for everyday activities.

But they don’t have the coffee, that is secure.
So everything is fine.

Hopefully, she lets him have his wallet back when he drives. LEOs get testy when you can’t present your license, even if you tell them that you’ve intended to get one but haven’t gotten a round tuit.

At least he hasn’t caught a shoe or a drag weight like I did.
I still have the drag weight in my tacklebox.

Cybes has to talk to the cat about that one.
And I know how cats can be when not properly bribed.

Naw, I have it covered. If I get pulled over, I’ll just tell the nice officer that I’m an illegal alien and don’t need any “stinking badges.” What could go wrong?

As side note, it’s worth mentioning I got one of those solid aluminum wallets a few months back, so Fred the Insane Cat can’t chew through it as he does other things.

I’ve thought about getting one of those aluminum wallets, but at the moment, I have no insane cat or dog to justify the purchase. *sigh*

I don’t bribe my (our) kitties; they bribe me. I’m in charge of the food and three different kinds of treats. LOL!

Oh, the aluminum cc cases are fabulous! You can find them in your purse quickly. Sometimes I just carry it in my pocket. Mine is red, easy to find.

I seldom have anything in my purse but ID, etc and things I may need in case of a personal emergency.

But I will check into them next time I go to Wally World.

Ahhhh, Wally World! What would we do without that place? Ace is my place for minor things. It’s across the street from WW.

If I had my druthers, I would not shop at Wally World. With no vehicle, I have to go where I can get to on foot, and it is cheaper than Albertson’s, which is about a block from there.

*sigh*

I’m getting too old to shop like I have been.
