LOL!
I haven’t had breakfast yet. I usually wait until I get hungry, which often isn’t until close to noon. No lizards in the house, but I do have a parakeet. I would know if he was in my breakfast by the feathers in the omelet.

"Fine morning were having this morning! I hope the morning brings you all kinds of wonderful morning things!" A fine morning, indeed. I was out making an early-morning delivery, which is unusual for me. But the morning was quiet and crisp. I could hear birds singing, and all the traffic signals were green.
It was like having waked up on the right side of the bed.

It is good when one has a good fine morning. After eating breakfast am missing a lizard here on this not so good fine morning. Am hoping Monkey Face’s parakeet doesn’t disappear. I’ll be blamed.

The late Igor was so used to hitting a traffic light when it was red, that once when it was green, he stopped for it. I LOL’d for a few blocks...

Nope. I wouldn’t blame you. I would blame The Stig for letting himself out of the cage. ;o]

Smart bird. You taught your bird well. And Thank You for not blaming me.

Don't worry I have the mop in my hand and the bucket on the floor at the ready.

"The late Igor was so used to hitting a traffic light when it was red, that once when it was green, he stopped for it. I LOLd for a few blocks..." I call it the "Oh, it's you, Bob" phenomenon. I expect green lights.
That's what we call "manifesting" what you want in your life, and why I was so annoyed with NicknamedSue when she kept worrying about the car's behavior on a long-ago trip.
"I just know we're going to be stuck on the highay," she said.
"Will you stop that?", I scolded her. "You're the one who believes in 'manifesting' a bright future!"
Sometimes we need reminders which side we're on.
(By the way, we made it. I had to replace the fuel pump after we reached our destination.)

ThomasThomas and the word “banal” must never appear in the same sentence. Drat. Am I becoming a lib?

How long does dry ice last? Does smoke come out of the package so that Homeland Security will detonate it and some poor postal employee will have to wipe chocolate hazelnut creme patisserie off all the desks and equipment? Are they likely to get smooshed up in transit? (You offer a constructive suggestion and it raises more questions. My entire family was like that. Complications-R-Us.)

Howdy. Yesterday was the 5th day in a row they used helicopters all day to fight the fire. It is quite the show as they fly right over my place. The fire hasn’t spread much either.
It rained a bit yesterday.

That’s GREAT news. May the efforts continue and more rain fall to help put the fire out.

I used to get meats from Omaha Steaks (when I was working and could afford it) and it was packed in dry ice and shipped from Nebraska. Even in the summer, the three-day trip didn’t melt the ice. If the package is sealed tightly, the ice should still be evident after three days. The meat was also shipped in styrofoam containers. Two of which I still have, all these years later.
If you know how to pack baked goods, you should have no trouble shipping them in drty ice. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, mark the package as perishable and state that it contains dry ice. That should eliminate any curious folks fondling the contents.
