A man from Chongqing in Southern China nearly suffocated to death after a romantic gesture to his girlfriend went wrong.
Mr Hu Seng had asked his friend to tape him into a box so he could ship himself via a courier service to his girlfriend, Li Wang.
However, the romantic gesture turned into a life-threatening event for Mr Hu when the courier company mixed up the address with another delivery.
The 30-minute wait turned into a three-hour ordeal for Mr Hu.
The material of the box was reportedly too thick for him to make any breathing holes while inside and he did not want to spoil the surprise by calling for attention.
When the box arrived at Li Wang's place, his friend was poised to record the event.
However, they found Mr Hu unconscious and looking pale upon opening the package.
Subsequently, paramedics were called over to her apartment to revive him.
He admitted, "I didn't realise it would take so long."
The courier company said they would not have accepted this delivery if they had known there was a person inside.
The spokesperson said that even for animals, a special container would be used so they can breathe properly.
Darn! I'm gaining weight just reading that post.
Me, too. If I could figure out a way to send you some cream puffs without allowing bacterial replication, I would. What could be better than a cybercelebration with some basis in reality?
I just realized as I was sitting here this morning, thinking about being able to watch movies instead of Jerry Springer, Maury ans Steve Wilkos. I keep the sound down so low for four hours in the morning that the roar of the crowds sounds like the surf from half a mile away from the beach.
It may be that I have to go with the Wii, but I will know later.
Pack them in dry ice. :o]
Don't worry about it, Ladies. I am the opposite of a gustatory epicure.
A little sweetness goes a long way with me, and too much arrives too soon.
It's as though I have my own Sweet Tooth, and I haven't finished writing that story yet.
How cute! Some with blue eys, some with gold. I wonder how many are deaf?
I bet they make up for it in lots of ways!
Note to self: No “Swiss Colony” Christmas presents for Nicknamedbob. Send him ... kimchee.
If it doesn’t have chocolate in it, I’m not sure I want to hear it! LOL!
And one on the middle tier is odd-eyed. I wonder if they’re a single litter, or more than one. Gorgeous kittehs, but they would rival Piper the Fur-Blizzard in the hair department!
T'ain't funny, McGee.
My needs are modest. I don't require anything except adoration.
They look about the same age, but since cats some into season at the same times (usually twice a year, speing and fall) they could be from different moms. I suspect the owner specializes in white domestic short hairs.
When kittehs are that old (3-4 mos?) it’s way past time to see they have new homes. Cuts down on fur blizzards!
My mother was always saying that! LOL!
I just checked the manual for the TV and it says I can hook up the HDMI cable and the TV will act like a computer monitor. I probably won’t know how to send Netflix to the TV until I actually hook up the cable, but that’s OK...at least I can do something with my hands while sitting.
I’m going to take a break in the projects and make a sock monkey for Emberlie (with brain cancer.) GG-Ma was telling me in an email this morning that Emberlie loves getting mail. If you think any of your kids would be interested in sending her a card or something, I will give you the address.
morning everyone.
Good morning! Fine morning we’re having this morning! I hope the morning brings you all kinds of wonderful morning things!
Breakfast was good, even though I did the cooking. Ah ... maybe I was wrong. Excuse me please, have to go take care of business. Lord, please don’t tell me that lizard in the house, got into breakfast. AHHHHHH....
