A man from Chongqing in Southern China nearly suffocated to death after a romantic gesture to his girlfriend went wrong.
Mr Hu Seng had asked his friend to tape him into a box so he could ship himself via a courier service to his girlfriend, Li Wang.
However, the romantic gesture turned into a life-threatening event for Mr Hu when the courier company mixed up the address with another delivery.
The 30-minute wait turned into a three-hour ordeal for Mr Hu.
The material of the box was reportedly too thick for him to make any breathing holes while inside and he did not want to spoil the surprise by calling for attention.
When the box arrived at Li Wang's place, his friend was poised to record the event.
However, they found Mr Hu unconscious and looking pale upon opening the package.
Subsequently, paramedics were called over to her apartment to revive him.
He admitted, "I didn't realise it would take so long."
The courier company said they would not have accepted this delivery if they had known there was a person inside.
The spokesperson said that even for animals, a special container would be used so they can breathe properly.
W000t!
can I be 1000 on the thread that will not die?
Too late, I was there with my oppressively banal discussion of the dietary preferences of dragons. Maybe you’ll get 2000.
Thanks for the ping. May the solution for the computer be quick.
That is what I call results. LOL
We have a new thread every month or so, and most go to 1000 posts or more. We can add you to the ping list if you wish. Then you can keep track of the numbers.
My banality is legendary.
I have to disagree. Have never found that to be true.
BWAH-Hah ha haaa!
Suddenly I appear and kilt tha thrad with my typo powers!
I was not familiar with the word banal. I have decided that this is a good thing. Because it must mean that none of my post or conversation have ever included any banality. That would also include this post.
Howza? James is demanding to play “World of Goo,” so I’ll be leaving again to watch “My Fair Wedding” on Netflix with Kathleen and whatever other kids show up. Sally is giving Frank a purple bubble-bath.
For banality, see my post 1,011.
Sensing no banality there. Does sound personal though.
You were so good at it that I thought the site was down...
*psych*
I want to watch Netflix, too, but the chair I have at the desk is too stiff for me to be comfy in for a full movie. I have a Wii on my list (after a new phone) and as soon as I get it, I can watch Netflix on TV.
Wait. Can I do it with one of those HDMI cables? If so, I would need one about 10’ long. It would be nice because I have so much stuff in my queue, and so little is worth watching on the lower tier of channels...alphabet dorks.
Whoa! I would feel like a real person if I could watch a movie amd make items for therapy/charity! Maybe on payday I will check with Radio Shack...
I just checked Walmart.com and they have one that is 15’ for $8!!!! YAY!!!
(Now I have to go back over my budget and my grocery list and see if I can swing it, along with the phone. My mother always said, “Expenses, expenses. What’re expenses? I got plenty of them!”)
Frank smelled very purple. The girl on “My Fair Wedding” had a “Day of the Dead”-themed wedding, and she wasn’t even Mexican. It was hysterical.
Would it really work? I haz a tiny cluelessness regarding all teh teknolijies.
I’ll send you a Little Something. It’s like unto being paydayish here.
Hate it when that happens.
We went to Wal Mart this AM because we bought a jar of Jif Chocolate Hazelnut spread yesterday and it was so good that we went back to get a dozen more. (Hatching dessert ideas to take to Earthwoman and her family and neighbors involving vanilla-almond cookies frosted with that spread or maybe two stuck together with the spread a la sandwich cookie or something. Maybe mini cream puffs filled w/choc hazelnut flavored creme patisserie?)
