There is weird footage that looks like one of the astronauts got pulled up by a wire in a later mission...he is on a knee on the surface trying to get up. The other guy says let me give you a hand. Then the guy gets up as if pulled by a wire...but maybe that has something to do with the atmosphere.

That's the effect of the pressurized suits.

Pressurized suits and 1/6th g lunar gravity. RummyChick, suppose you weigh 120 lbs. Now I work some magic and you have muscles built to work a 120 lb body on a body that only weighs 20 lbs (!). Then I put you into a suit that’s basically a balloon — stiff, like being inside a inflatable toy. You’d easily spring up from a kneeling posture; you might find it harder to get into the kneeling posture in the first place.
