I don’t know to whom of you I should respond first, so I will just write my thoughts on t he comments I see on this thread and address to each of you…if the shoe fits, wear it.
First of all, these ‘scientists’ are presumptuous to assume that they can know whether these ‘Neandrathrals’ were either right handed or left handed. But that is to be expected of pseudo scientists.
As a true scientist, I can say unabashedly that only the few, most intelligent of the homo sapiens are left handed. And as libertarian27 posted, ‘everyone is born right handed; only the greatest overcome it…
And again, libertarian27 posted, ‘Only LEFT-HANDED people are in their RIGHT minds’.
I am left handed. I see what I write as I right it, just as a LEFT minded person does when they write with their wrong hand. Teachers who don’t know better are responsible for the kind of LEFT HANDED writing referred to in one of the posts. And I would wager I write more legibly that most of you out there who are so proud of being wrong handed.
When I shoot a pistol, I can handle and shoot it accurately and well with either hand dominant. How many of you wrong handed people out there can say that?
When I play golf, I stand on the right side of the ball.
Teachers who tried to make wrong handers out of left handers were totally incorrect and damaged many of those in doing so.
And there is nothing more ridiculous than a prejudiced wrong hander, such as you who thinks ‘Any time I see someone writing with their left hand it looks so ridiculous.’
A few years ago, the three ‘most intelligent’ men in this country were running for President…and all three were LEFT handed. Now, some of you may not agree regarding their intelligence, but they were all very successful men in other ventures, either in politics or in business or both, and they were all candidates for the highest office in this land…an office to which most of you reading this will never aspire.
The wrong handed people of this world can only tolerate a few highly intelligent members of our species, which is why there are only a few of us who are left handed.

I've read that left-handed stroke victims recover quicker because they use both sides of their brain more so than the right handed population - also use both sides of their body and can compensate for side loss.
I've adapted to a right-handed society, doing many things right-handed - but can also do them left-handed (ie, raking, shoveling snow, construction tasks-hammer, etc.)Most sports I perform right handed, it was the way I was taught...shooting however, later in life, I was shown both ways - I could be a gun slinger :>)
I will propose that right-handed people should practice different tasks using their left hand - get those juices flowing on the right side of their brain.
It's time for them to Evolve ~ :)
