Same thing happened to me once but it was a pack of Feral Chihuahuas that attacked my 85 Fiero...
(And it should be noted that "Feral Chihuahuas" would make an awesome name for a punk rock band [/Dave Barry])

SOo glad kitten survived. One tenant in this complex purposely let his pit bull loose to kill a friendly feral cat I was feeding. I am still traumatized. He moved away...which is why i am not in jail.

And to what cretin or group of cretins did this pack of killer dogs belong?
The people who own and train these things to fight are scarier than the dogs.
I watched one of these idiots walk his pit bull down my block for several months, on a large chain - like he was projecting his masculinity through it.
I think they could be better used to teach Michael Vick what a scum feeding lowlife he is.

Oh, come on those wonderful, gentle, friendly pooches were just trying to rescue the kitty.

Glad the kitty survived. Hopefully the new owners will keep the kitty indoors for his safety.

Everyone always assumes the worst where pits are involved. Has anyone considered that the dogs may have been trying to HELP the kitty, by rescuing her from being entrapped in the bumper?

This stray kitten was stuck in the bumper of a Dodge minivan and survived a 25-mile drive to Palm Springs and an attack by four pit bulls, who mauled the car's bumper. It has been named Fender Lynx.

I know a guy with a Jack Russell. A mouse or chipmunk crawled up underneath his Ford big SUV. Later, he had a new wiring harness installed after getting it towed to town.

Back in the 60s, before anyone ever heard of pitbulls, I had a friend who owned one. One day he was driving his VW bug with the dog in the front seat when a Buick Opal came across center line and hit him head on. Nobody was seriously hurt, but the dog was thrown through the windshield and out onto the pavement. He got up, shook his head, charged the Opal and tore it's front tire to pieces. Tough dog, that.
