Back when I was reading DC comics regularly, I always thought Superman had a thing for WW. That was 40 years ago now, but, it was there.

Nah, 40 years ago, if a chick didn't have the initials "LL" she didn't stand a chance (Lois Lana, Lori Lemaris, Lana Lang, etc.).

She would actually be a bit dangerous for ol' Supes. Her powers derive from magic, so the lasso would work on him. He could probably keep her in line with some heat vision aimed at her feet (out of the range of her deflecting bracelets). I just don't see Hippolyta approving of her Amazon princess marrying a fellow more powerful than herself. They aren't like regular gals in that regard.

I remember a Superman comic book that actually dealt with the "LL" thing. Lex Luthor was another character with those initials.
