The week was ok. Found out I'll be in Miami next week for a conference. The lawn company started killing off the grass to begin a rejuvenation.

Any cooking this weekend? Grilled london broil yesterday (tonight's leftovers) and made cherry cobbler.

Your lawn company kills your grass to start over? Wow! I’ve not heard of anyone doing that.

I hope you have a good time in Miami, although you’ll probably work mostly—or conference it, which may be boring; I don’t know. At least you’ll probably get to eat something nice! :-)

We don’t have a barbecue lined up, because we were both lame and didn’t get anything at the store. It’s been a lazy-butt weekend, and I’m slow getting the housework and laundry done today. Even your leftovers sound great—plus a cherry cobbler! YUMMMM!!!! We may do some Bubba Burgers on the grill.
