The media is freaking out over him because that’s their role.

Don’t ever doubt that the media freakout component of Democratic strategy works - it does work, which is why they do it.

When they are done with Ryan, his mother won’t vote for him.

All the hysteria in the MSM isn’t only that Obama failed it’s because they failed.

I don’t believe for a minute that this is the pick the Left wanted all along. I think Paul Ryan is the one they feared the most.

Let’s face it, liberalism has always had to be propped up with lies, pretzel logic, and revisionist history. Now that Obama has put it all into practice, and our citizens are experiencing what we on the right told them would happen, there are a lot of voters out there who are now ready to listen. They are all ears now. Especially the young. Obama will not win without the youth vote.

I think the Left is shaking in their collective boots.

Paul Ryan is first and foremost a capitalist. He sees the connection between the freedom that capitalism affords and morality. He sees that liberalism has morphed into socialism under Obama. He sees socialism as immoral and capitalism as moral. Because he sees things this way, he is able to make the moral case for capitalism. He is different because he sees that capitalism is not only better, it is morally superior to socialism, and whether we like it or not, this is the debate we are in.

Paul Ryan is a teacher, and this is a teaching moment. By being put into practice, and having failed, liberalism is at its weakest point in recent memory. Perhaps in previous years liberalism could have withstood a confrontation with someone arguing for capitalism on moral grounds. Not in 2012 A.D.

In Paul Ryan’s Norfolk speech, he said that Washington is more concerned about the next election than the next generation. This is a moral argument. I believe Ryan’s statement was directed as much at Republicans in Washington as Democrats. How long have we been waiting for someone to say this? Paul Ryan has been the adult in the room for his entire tenure in Washington, and now HE realizes it.

Oh, and he gets under Obama’s skin.

...”He’s youg, bright, and knowledgeable. He’s forthright and honest; also is inspirational.

Yeah, he’s an awful pick”...

And, don’t forget..He has an added advantage..HE IS A HANDSOME HUNK!

YES! Shaken down, sifted and condensed..It is a choice between capitalism and socialism (freedom and dictatorship.) Socialism quickly disintegrates into the total slavery of a population..It has never worked and it always ends in horror.

Why not hit the loons with a figurative battleship broadside and have Ryan seen with Sarah Palin more often, let the left suspect that the RR team will be placing Sarah Palin in a position of power if they are elected, let the left assume their worst nightmare will now become a closed loop poor quality Total Rekall mind game.

I want Obama, his choom game from Pelosi and Reid on down to not only become unemployed but demoralized and possibly either arrested or deported.

Uh..., because the drive-by media are an arm of the DNC?

(Do I win anything?)

I suspect the Media is worried that too many voters will see the video of Ryan undressing Obamacare while boorish (in all it's meanings) Barry looks on. He does it with articulation that Barry could only dream of and without a teleprompter no less.

From what I have heard so far, the liberals think that Paul Ryan is the most dangerous man in America. He will throw Granny off the cliff and all that.

They have also dug into his voting record, and see that he has a poor record on “women’s issues”, such as abortion, and a poor record on “LGBT” or homosexual related issues.

So, the liberals will have a lot of ammunition, from their liberal point of view, about how terrible a choice Ryan is.

My open question is — is there anyone Romney could have chosen who would have been okay with the liberals and the MSM????? Anyone at all who would not have had severe faults, from the liberal point of view???????

No, of course not.

Was that a serious question?

No, it was a rhetorical question. Of course, the media and the liberals would have found fault with ANY running mate choice by Romney.

The media knows their man is in trouble. Check out the video of Obama driving down Cesar Chavez St. in Austin, TX. The street is empty.

I ran into a Video clip of that dance. The lady in the foreground had a bigger ass, and Hillary was getting bounced around like a billiard ball. She must use plaster to keep that phoney smile intact.
