Muhammed Ali picked up a good strategy as he grew older and lost his speed i.e. he let his opponent wear himself out through a flurry of punches. Ali merely leaned against the ropes and deflected the punches until his opponent was worn down and then delivered the KO. It’s possible, I guess.
