Ernest Hemingway’s mother dressed him in girl's clothes when he was little. He went on to be troubled all of his life and finally he committed suicide.

It could have been because he inherited the mental issues of his mother, or it could have been because his mother confused the poor kid.

Many years ago I knew a woman whose beautiful litle girl died. She had another child,a boy and raised him as a girl. When he began school they sent him home with a note to have his long hair cut and not to come back wearing a dress.
Mama resented that but did send him to school dressed as a boy should be dressed but at home he was her little girl.

He died a “gay” man and mama had no one to blame but herself.
