I have to agree. Not much attention has ever been applied to the beautiful doowop music made by the black rnb groups of the 50’s. I’m not addressing the top 100 records played over and over again on the popular AM bands; but the groups that never made the crossover to white audiences because of racial concerns. Vinyl and pre vinyl 78 rpm discs, made for something collectable, IMO unlike the compact disk.
