Mine were all born prior to 1973 so abortions would have to have been illegal, but plenty of abortions happened anyway.
A niece and nephew have adopted a boy from Africa. He is 11 now and so smart and polite, I love to be around him. The couple is in Africa right now looking to adopt another child.

Actually abortion was legal in New York and several other states prior to 1973. Before Roe vs. Wade it was up to the state to vote on it. No surprise New York was for it.
