But neither Congress nor the White House will be forthcoming if the electorate next November is full of Kents trapped in Seattle!Precisely the reason you're supposed to expend enough genuine effort to secure our sympathies (and our votes) well beforehand, rather than sniveling and tantruming about if afterwards.
This all just seems so terribly, awfully... complicated for you, somehow.
I sincerely don't know how to remedy that for you.

There are going to be some interesting downticket races here, besides Cruz and Dewhurst. Most seem to be leaning toward the actual conservative.
I know at least one state senator is sweating pretty hard over his support for the establishment's Dewhurst.

The other interesting thing about Dewhurst is that most of the state senate seems cowed by him because Lt. Gov is the most powerful political position in Texas.
Dewhurst is flailing, and making enemies. Sorta like what we've seen on this thread tonight.
I expect to see some kind of revolt against that kind of intimidation right after the election.
It may be quiet, but I expect it. Hell, I'm encouraging it.
