So you not have posted support at Free Republic for any one for the 2012 election.
2nd request on this thread :
Who do you guys suggest we vote for as president in 2012?
Can you link to a few threads showing us the candidate we should consider?
Thank you.
News to me. Do I get a stipend?
he said yesterday that he might vote for Romney if enough of us beg him
Are you referring to me? If so, show me that thread.
I have been adament from the beginning that I won't vote for a liberal, pro-abort, anti-gun candidate.
Conservatives won't be voting for Romney. Because he's not conservative. Republicans might, because he's got an (R) behind his name.
If you think I need banned from FR, mash that abuse button and get me kicked.

And your gig is to vote for someone that cannot possibly win.
I started out liking Newt but he went squirrely on me then I liked Perry because of his executive and energy experience but he couldn't get it together. I really like Bachmann because she understands the immediacy of danger this country is in, but she can't any attention. So I am left with a vote against Obama. God help us.
I would have voted for several of the GOP primary candidates, but the GOPe cheated and bad-mouthed them out of the game. Now, the GOP is stuck with Mitt. He won't get my vote.

You can fret and be fearful all you like. I refuse to. I also refuse to vote against my principles.

Even so, ynot, they seem to be conservative patriots with a different mindset. To them, I can only hope I come across as a conservative patriot with a different mindset. I see no evidence they want the purple lipped as$hat back in the White House...they just feel they need to vote their true convictions. I respect that while at the same time I (I only speak for myself here) think I am looking beyond one poor election to a bigger picture.
I have seem many responses where folks have said "I voted for McCain" and I won't lower myself again".
Right!!! That really hurt me too.
But from what I see, the next time anyone voices their opinion on a candidate other than Choombama, they won't just be lowering themselves, they will be lowering their necks for a muslim blade. They can doubt this at the peril of themselves and their family.
At least Romney’s not a commie, and he’s never eaten any dogs.
That alone is good enough reason to vote for him, hehehe.
(Speaking of dogs......has ANYONE seen Bo lately?
Give it up, they will not tell you because winning is the last thing on their mind. Their debating style is to fire and retreat not stand and defend. They will never tell you their path to victory because they have none.
“(Speaking of dogs......has ANYONE seen Bo lately?”
Poor little Bo. I saw the Kenyan on TV yesterday and he looked like he some fur on his lip. We should demand to see Bo.
My path to victory is to do right, and leave the results to God.
All I have EVER said is that I won't vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, socialized medicine, big-government liberal.

And if 0bama is re-elected America might be over.
She actually included the FR owner, Robinson, Cc'ed in one response...I guess to call for his help and get me banned.
I swear it was like conversing with Chris Matthews, wondering where the heck she was pulling out the crap she was returning.
All in all though, we all are passionate about how to get to a future free of obama...I get that. My way includes voting for that POS salami salesman romney...sadly he has been put before us as the only choice outside obama...others say they cannot do that. So be it...I hope they are the exception and not the rule.
No more so than if Romney is elected. We've survived socialists before. See FDR.

JRandomFreeper do you feel discussing politics at FreeRepublic is shoving preferences down someones throat?
That's not true. There will be several more on my ballot than those two socialists.

Simply ask the following:
Who do you guys suggest we vote for as president in 2012?
Can you link to a few threads showing us the candidate we should consider?
Thank you.
Those that oppose Mitt find that extremely offensive.
I think that each person should examine his principles, evaluate the available candidates and vote (or not) based on their principles.

“My path to victory is to do right, and leave the results to God” You have that right. Can’t argue with that even though my pride fights me all the way. Thank you for your service and I really mean that sincerely and I would never want you banned from here. If truth be told I think much of what you are saying is correct. Romney did lie. A lot. I believe he thought the only path to the White house was to have once served as a Senator or Governor and in his State he had to portray himself as a center left Republican to get elected. It didn’t work when he ran for Senate but it did for Governor but not enough to win re-election. I believe he is a conservative and always was but he felt he had to deceive the voters of his State to win and get the cred he needed to try for the WH. I’ll do what you said (or was it John Adams) and “do my duty and leave the results to God.”
