I track this poll daily and I don't recall this ever happening. Romney has been gaining ground on Obama all week, and they are currently tied, even though Obama still has two 48-44 polling days within the current 7 day sample. The first 48-44(advantage Obama) day was supposed to fall out of the average today, and I was expecting to see Romney move into the lead. I find it a little suspicious that Gallup isn't updating the numbers today.

Have it fall off on a weekend and it will get less press?
Consipracy perhaps... or just a glitch in their systems..who knows... but doesn’t matter.
As I said, by October, only the most hard core pundit will still be trying to argue Obama has any chance in this election. The real political discussion will be whether or not the Republicans will get 60 seats in the Senate.

I happened across Beck this morning and he mentioned that the Gallup ‘Daily Poll’ has Obama’s approve/disapprove at 35/59. He suggested it was a one day sample. Not sure where he was getting his info or if it has any relationship to the Gallup Tracker not being updated today......

They must really have been BAD. Gallup is trying to come up with the rosy numbers that the NBC/WSJ poll came up with, but can’t find enough Democrats who are willing to run up the Obama numbers.

Rasmussen is showing a sharp climb for Romney, with him +5 over Obama.
